The Shippon has been designed with large groups in mind, providing all the equipment, space and facilities needed to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable break. The kitchen has a dining space that seats 18; so meals can be enjoyed altogether around one big table. There is also a large outdoor dining space, two Webber coal BBQs and sun loungers, so you can make to make the most of the warmer days and evenings. In the winter the big living room, with its 7 sofas, log burner and beautiful views, is a great space to relax in. And when the days are done, there are 10 comfortable bedrooms and 10 bathrooms to retreat to!

The Shippon is conveniently positioned just 10 minutes walk from the National Cycling Network route. This takes you along a stunning stretch of the River Dart to the popular town of Totnes in one direction (40 minutes amble). Or 20 minutes in the other direction you will find Sharpham Vineyard and Cafe and a lovely village pub. So once you are here there may be no need to use your car for the duration of your stay! After all that activity guests in the Shippon now have exclusive use of two lovely cedar hot tubs. These hot tubs are located just in front of the house (with full child proof lids). So that you and your friends will be able to relax and soak up the beautiful views whilst enjoying the therapeutic benefits of a soothing hot tub.

The owners have been welcoming groups to the Shippon for many years, successfully creating a happy, easy-going atmosphere where guests, no matter how old or young, can relax and unwind.
